The fight against the relocation of Bio Burn to a new site on Pigeon House Road under the new name of Waste to Energy goes on. The added momentum of the signature gathering recently carried out in our three sister villages has made this the most fought against development in recent memory.

With the aligning of all the residents' associations in the area into a unified body under the title Dublin Bay Action for Health Group plus the stated objections of all out local politicians it is certainly a concerted effort on all fronts to oppose the new incinerator.
After recent meetings of Dublin Corporation the current site of the incinerator in Hanover Quay is to have an independent set of consultants on site for the month of January to monitor all the procedures involved in the running of the plant.

Their report is to be presented to Dublin Corporation this coming February. With Bio Burn due to vacate their current sire by July next, things are hotting up on all fronts to say the least.
