BALLSBRIDGE, DONNYBROOK AND SANDYMOUNT HISTORICAL SOCIETY

The Ballsbridge, Donnybrook and Sandymount Historical Society was founded in Pembroke Library in 2007 with the aim of promoting an interest in local history in the area.

To this end the Society arranges lectures, exhibitions and walking tours. They also publish an ‘Annual Record’ that details talks and events that went on during the previous year.

The Society has had a hugely successful inaugural year with a current membership of over 200. Lecture meetings are held in St Mary’s National School, Belmont Avenue, Donnybrook.
