THE EDITOR'S CORNER

The Irish Times recently announced that the price of their paper has gone up from €1.70 to €1.80 and on Saturdays it will cost you €2. ‘NewsFour’ is pleased to announce that your local newspaper is still free.

Mind you, we haven’t got a new designer as they have. Eugene has been doing a great job all these years and we don’t see any need to change.

So what do we have for you this cold and windy February? Dave Reddy has once again bemused us here in the office with the photograph on page 37. Where is it? Who knows. If you do perhaps you would put me out of my misery.

I have a feeling that my good friend Killian has made our crossword a tad difficult this time. Maybe we will just have to think longer and harder.

Brian Kelly’s travel piece on Vietnam will have you all wanting to join those Intrepid travellers in 2008. We have given you some tips for a better life. However, some people have great outlooks on life already without any help from us. Just read about Linda, Frances, Margaret and Paddy for starters.

The next issue will be out at the end of April when Spring will be well and truly with us. Please continue to get in touch with any stories, articles or poems.

Have a good and safe St Patrick’s Day and best wishes for a restful Easter break.
