PICTURED top is Richard OʼShea, a 6th year student from Scoil
Mhuire Gan Smal, Blarney Co. Cork. Richard created a biomass
fired cooking stove for use in developing countries. Richard won
first prize in the Technology– Senior– Individual section.

Pictured below are Kyrill and Artyom Zorin from St. Conlethʼs
College, Dublin. They came third in the Technology– Intermediate–
Group Section with their open source computer operating system:
Zorinos. They tested it against Windows to see if it could be used as
a reliable and free alternative to that system.
