'MEMORIES OF THE DOOR'
Memories of the ‘Door’, a piece of street sculpture that was erected in Ringsend last year to represent issues of domestic violence, was cast in stone and laid at the new library plaza in Ringsend on Friday 5th December. The Stone was laid by the Minister for Justice Michael McDowell TD. It is hoped that a permanent reminder of the ‘door’ will serve as hope for those who have been victims or domestic violence. Our pictures show Minister McDowell laying the stone, watched by Eoin Ryan TD, poet and author Paul Durcan and Ruairi Quinn TD. |
