Residents
of O’Rahilly House worked hard for nearly two years to get a playground
built in the flats complex. They first approached the Dublin City Council
and then the Dublin Docklands Development Association to obtain match funding.The playground was officially opened at the end of August and as you can see from the photograph is greatly appreciated by the children living there. All credit is due to the very persistent committee of Mary Lawless (Chairperson, pictured left), Bernadette Black, Tony Ebbs, Amanda Kelly, Carmel Weafer, Eileen Clarke, Angie Mullen and Kathrina Boland.
