VIKINGS INVADE DUBLIN PORT

The Lord Mayor of Dublin and Admiral of the Port, Councillor Paddy Bourke, welcomed the arrival of the ‘Sea Stallion of Glendalough’ from Roskilde in Denmark.

The boat will be on display in Collins Barracks Museum until next Summer.

Captain Carsten said that the worst experience on the voyage was the rudder breaking and the greatest was the hooting of the ships in the harbour coming into Dublin and the welcome of the crowds.
