The
new Chief Executive of the Dublin Docklands Development Authority is Mr
Paul Maloney. Mr Maloney is currently Executive Manager, Central Area,
of Dublin City Council. He replaces Mr Peter Coyne who announced his resignation
last January.
Mr Maloney is an experienced practitioner in Urban Planning and Regeneration
with significant understanding of best practice in European and U.S cities.
His skills lie in the implementation and delivery of strategies in the
social, economic and enterprises spheres, which complement major physical
development projects.
Mr Lar Bradshaw, Chairman of the DDDA said, “We are delighted to
confirm the appointment of Paul Maloney as the new Chief Executive. He
has all the attributes we are looking for in terms of urban regeneration
experience and throughout his career has demonstrated that he is a highly
effective leader with vast experience in project implementation.”
