Teams of students from 3rd and 4th classes of St Patrick’s Girls School, Ringsend entertained fellow students and their proud teachers, Miss Daly and Miss Farren, with performances of puppet shows at the school recently. The shows were a Dublin City Council Green Schools initiative and were sponsored by DCC waste management team.

The girls made the hand puppets and sets themselves from a variety of waste materials. They wrote their own stories which contained references to the environment. The entertaining shows were a fruition of eleven weeks tuition by puppeteer Helene Hugel.
