YOUNG PERSONS TALENT SHOWCASE

The first Docklands Young Persons Talent Showcase run by the Dublin Docklands Development Authority (DDDA) was held in the National Concert Hall on Saturday February 21st.

Adjudicators for the Showcase included the legendary Maureen Potter, Twink and Brendan Balfe. Lord Mayor Royston Brady chaired the adjudicating panel. There were two category winners with Lauren Byrne Walsh from East Wall winning the 6-11 year old category and Janine O'Leary from North Wall winning the 12-16 year old category. A special scholarship was also received by Ciara Lindsey, North Wall to attend the Adele Quinn School of drama. The night was a huge success.
