LITTLE FEET
By Rose Hogan

March 2004 saw the opening of a smart new children's shoe shop in Sandymount Village. The old Chartbusters shop next to Matisse has now become home to Little Feet.

The first branch of Little Feet opened last year in Sandycove, and due to its great success has now opened another branch in Sandymount. Ann Honan-Croke, formerly a nurse in St. Vincent's Hospital, was inspired whilst looking for footwear for her young son Thomas. She saw a niche in the market and decided to go for it. Ann's third store will open in Greystones shortly.

All the stores are situated conveniently near the DART line, and are very well-stocked with all the latest styles in familiar brand names like Ricosta, Start Rite, Buckle my Shoe, Geox Timberland and many more. The staff, Brenda, Niki, and Una are all fully qualified in fitting and measuring and provide a very friendly service. Shoe sizes start from birth to size 42, which is equivalent to a size eight, which will fit adult feet.

The opening hours are from 10-6pm Monday to Saturday, with the possibility of a late opening in the future. If you have any queries regarding Little Feet Ann or the girls will be only to happy to help you, the telephone number for the Sandymount store is 6144744.
