FAMILY FARE
By Audrey Healy
Family Fare aims to cater for all your needs. As a parent you’ll be looking for products that are safe, convenient, durable, affordable as well as being fashionable and you’ll find it all here– many of the products are Irish made, which is always a bonus. Situated in the busy centre of Ringsend village behind the library, Family Fare is bright, warm and spacious and displays an impressive and eye-catching array of colourful childcare products, ranging from baby booties, clothes and activity mats, right up to cots, baby walkers and mobiles. “We also sell toys, baby monitors and car seats for children from birth right up to age eleven years,” says proprietor Lucy McCormack, who runs the store with her husband Patrick. “We also have prams, pushchairs, strollers, which can all be adjusted to suit the child’s age as well as mattresses, curtains, and accessories for the baby’s nursery.” Lucy says that in the current economic climate all items have to be competitively priced. She is looking forward to welcoming customers old and new and is happy to advise them on what’s best for them and their new baby. |
