RIYP had a very busy fun- packed summer programme in 2008. 40 young people with ages ranging from 10-17 signed up for a packed week of kayaking, rock climbing, fishing, horse riding and even squeezed in some samba drumming.

They were delighted everyone had such a good time and hope that others will join RIYP in September along with anybody else interested for new groups and interesting programmes.

Manager Jacinta Conroy and youth worker Yvonne O’Neill will be leaving the project in August 2008. A brand new team are bursting with energy and ideas to bring to the young people in Ringsend and Irishtown, so watch out for up and coming posters.

Both Jacinta and Yvonne would like to thank the young people, their parents and everybody in the local community for all their help and support over the last two years.
